The studio name comes from founder and creative director Ellen Ivy Krantz.
FROM THE FOUNDER:
All of my work is driven by my environment and interests. As a designer, I find inspiration in everything. As a human, I find inspiration incredibly fleeting and constantly look for new sources. Previous obsessions include: Kurt Vonnegut, the Cleveland Guardians, morse code, game shows, Audrey Hepburn, kintsugi, bananas, Roy Lichtenstein, sea glass, Frusciante, Russian history, funk music, Thomas Jefferson, art museums, Karen Walker, Game of Thrones, classic rock, Marcel Duchamp, and modern philosophy.
There is a lot to learn and I am grateful for my self expression. Above all, I really just love art.
